WIND, FOIL, KITE, SURFERS
From the North wall of the Cobb across the main sandy beach on Marine Parade to Church Cove by the Clock tower we have a swim line marked with yellow buoys and an orange buoy to indicate the end of the swim line. No motorised vessels, yachts or dinghies should operate between the swim line and shore.
Wind, Kite and Foil Surfers may launch within the swim buoy area from the main "pebble" beach but should avoid the area immediately in front of the "sandy" beach. When launching from the beach every caution must be taken to avoid any swimmers in the water.
Once launched please keep to the seaward side of the Swim line buoy line wherever possible.
Do not surf across the Harbour Mouth and avoid the pontoon area as this is a busy commercial harbour in constant use.
